The Ascension!

‘Going Away?

Yeshua always told His Talmidim that He was going away and they could not come yet, but afterwards they would be able to come!

Early in the Gospels Yeshua said that He was going ahead of them to prepare them a place, we term this as the many mansions, but this word may bring more confusion than a full meaning of what was actually said?

Forty days after His resurrection and ten days before Shavo’ut Yeshua departed back to Heaven, after over five hundred people had witnessed His rising from the grave, with the promise that He was going to return at the end of the age!

Yochanan 14:2, 28, 16:7, Luke 24:51, Acts 1:11, 10:39, Mark 13:26, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 1:7.

Waiting?

May 30, 2019

It can be a tough Ask!

Hard when one is being persecuted, intimidated or excluded at school, work, services, home and in retirement, because the world does not want to hear what we have to say or being honest, when it is very far from anything?

But Elohim wants us to learn to wait and not to be inactive, but to be getting on with serving Him! The Talmidim were asked to wait in Yerushalayim, but this did not stop the things they had to continue with!

So we must be the same, not stopping to wait for an answer, but to continue and be active in these last darker days?

Psalm 9:1,   Luke 18:1,   Acts 1:4,   12-26,   Ephesians 6:18,   2 Thessalonians 1:11,   Hebrews 13:8.

Many Nations and Israel!

If one talks to older folks, you hear much about the past and the wars with their respective horrors, but today you can speak to refugees from Afghanistan and the Middle-East and hear much the same!

But when you speak with Israelis you learn quickly that they have to live with it, its like Beirut in the seventies or N-Ireland during the troubles?

People were at home and they had no where special they could go, maybe for a while a short move for a rest, but then you had to come home?

People today live in the inner cities around the world and now are getting a taste of some serious out of control crime, it not quite the same but it is bad when you loose a loved one, a child to stabbings!

Genesis 14:2,   31:26,   Joshua 11:20,   Psalm 120:7,   Luke 14:31,   2 Corinthians 10:3,  Alef Kefa 2:11,   Revelation 2:16.

Many Mansions!

May 18, 2017

I go to prepare a place for you!

These are some of the most comforting words that Yeshau Adonai spoke, when He sais He had to go away to prepare our home in Heaven for us!

The Talmidim with Him at that time would not have really understood what he was on about, but on the day of His Ascension forty-day after He had arisen from the grave they must of had a bit more of what he was talking about?

The New Testament is for all believers Jews and Gentiles now that the Holy Spirit has been poured out, so that we have the fullness of the Holy Scriptures or the Complete Tanakh!

Yochanan 14:2-3,   Hebrews 13:14,  Revelation 21:2.

Ha ‘Torah Permits.

Yeshua showed up the religious men of His day as to their twisting of legal matters over the Shabbat, sadly not much has changed withe excuses over changing the distance one can travel between home and the Synangouge?

The Talmidim ate on that most Holy day, just as King David and provision had been made in the Law for the Priests and many others to work on this day. In fact many people have to work on the sabbath in hospitals, police, security forces, power distribution and the military!

Matthew/Levi 12:1-2, 8, Numbers 28:9-10, Deuteronomy 23:25, Nehemiah 13:17, Mark 2:23-28, 1 Shamu ‘EL 21:3-6.

Elohim Delivered Y’srael.

Today thousands return making Aliya each year, sometimes the numbers vary but still they come. Many would say this was Israel’s right to do this plan of bringing our own home and it has been a success for many years.

What they fail to see is that the Tanakh is full of promises in relation to the return and restoration of the nation. Men have plans and some are inspired by Elohim, as in this case.

Modern Israel is so caught up in its humanistic ideals, that it remains in some senses bling to the reality of what Elohim is doing?

Be Encouraged. Part-Two.

Every Day.

This is something that we need everyday to help us get through work, retirment, school!

The world does not like us who have faith in Yeshua Adonai and our Abba Elohim, so they will try to twart us, but we have the Ruach Ha’Kodesh and he has power to build us up and help us in ways that we cannot or are not able to.

Fellowship is not always possible, so we can pray and seek divine intervention in our lives and Elohim will hear and answer us.
