CHRISTMAS. One.

The events Surrounding?

The story of Christmas is made up of several key events that surround the emphasis of the miraculous entry of Yeshua into human flesh!

Each of these events fulfill the scriptures to prove that all this was well known of by the Prophets, despite the unbelief of the nation and their choices of bad Kings.

By the time that these events took place about two thousand years ago Israel was once more in the Temple order decline, so the last prophet Malachi informs us! Greek occupation, followed by the Roman conquest, lead to various backlash revolts such as the Maccabi success, which gave some independence to Ha ‘Yehudim again?

But despite all this decline there were still some believers I various places, we see this opening with the birth of Yochannan the Baptizer, whose parents were cousins to Mari and Yoseph!

Matthew/Levi  2:4-6,    Luke 1:5-25,   39-45,   57-66,   Hebrews 12:2,    Revelation 22:16.

Chanukkah! One.

November 21, 2018

Festival of Lights.

Chanukka remains one of the most popular and fun loving festivals in the Jewish calendar, as much for children and adults!

Being popular can sometimes miss the real message of what many today believe was the onset for the events of the entry of Moshia into Israeli society?

Israel was seeking a divine intervention over that of the initial Maccabean rebellion, people wanted assurances that Elohim was still with them and a deliverance was coming!

Exodus 2:23,  Ezra 9:13,  Psalm 3:8,  14:7,  40:16,  Luke 21:28,  Philippians 1:19.

Many Nations and Israel!

If one talks to older folks, you hear much about the past and the wars with their respective horrors, but today you can speak to refugees from Afghanistan and the Middle-East and hear much the same!

But when you speak with Israelis you learn quickly that they have to live with it, its like Beirut in the seventies or N-Ireland during the troubles?

People were at home and they had no where special they could go, maybe for a while a short move for a rest, but then you had to come home?

People today live in the inner cities around the world and now are getting a taste of some serious out of control crime, it not quite the same but it is bad when you loose a loved one, a child to stabbings!

Genesis 14:2,   31:26,   Joshua 11:20,   Psalm 120:7,   Luke 14:31,   2 Corinthians 10:3,  Alef Kefa 2:11,   Revelation 2:16.

Atonement?

Sins to be dealt With!

How is this now to be sorted out since their has been no Temple in Jerusalem for the last one-thousand and nine hundred years?

It is ironic that some legal way has been made in Judaism to justify ways around this but, the truth is that with the advent of Yeshua there is no need of either sacrifices of animals or a building!

Since we can call on Him confess and repent of our failures and Elohim will have mercy on us, but repentance is not something that excuses us to return back to sin again and again but rather that we will be changed by Ruach Ha’Kodesh into a new people

Jeremiah 31:34,   1 Corinthians 11:25,   Ephesians 2:13,   Hebrews 9:28.

Another Year!

Over the years of writing this blog post one has not moved on to change the emphasis, this is because for our little nation wither one believes in it or not will be attacked again and again?

Arab nations, the Muslim religion, western liberalism and now anti-Semitism is coming to the fore in places that we thought were done with this, learning from their own historical failures?

But we must recognise that sin, being an inherited condition continues to work in the hearts of each of us! The writer of Ecclesiastes was correct when he said, ‘That there was nothing new under the sun!

What is more important is the knowledge that we have found Yeshua Adonai as the Lord and master of our lives and that we continue to walk with Him, awaiting that great day of His return!

Yochanan 14:28,  1 Thessalonians 1:10,   Hebrews 1:2-3,   10:37,   Yesha ‘Yahu 51:11, Zechariah 1:3,   Malachi 3:18,   Luke 12:36,   Alef Kefa 3:4.

The Temple! Two.

July 20, 2018

Focus on being Born-Again?

Today there is no Temple in Yerushalayim, but right-wing and Orthodox Y’hudim are planning to build a new one before the coming of their false Moshia!

But for all believers the Apostle Paul (Shual) tells us that we are the Temple of Ruach Ha ‘Kodesh and He is precious to us as a guide and helper or comforter! Known in the Greek of the New Testament as Paraclete, the word encompasses many meanings along the lines that we have already covered!

One day when we all make it home to the New Heavenly Yerushalayim, there will no longer be a need for any kind of Temple, since the light of Yeshua will illuminate us and it!

Exodus 25:9-26:30,  1 Kings 6:3-33,   Psalm 61:4,   Acts 7:44,   1 Corinthians 3:16-17,  Hebrews 9:1-11,  13:10,   Revelation 21:3,  22.

The Temple! One.

July 5, 2018

The focus of Y’srael.

In times past the Temple was the focus of the people to bring their sacrifices for their failures to be offered by the priestly order, it was the central place of worship for Ha Y’hudim and the dwelling of Elohim on Earth!

But because of the sin, ignorance and arrogance of the people and the way that the Prophets were mistreated as they tried to warn the Kings that they were going against the will of Elohim to submit, two Temples were destroyed and the nations scattered to the four winds of the Earth via Babylon!

Yeshua told the people two-thousand years ago that their failure to trust in Elohim and to believe in Him was their ruin, because they were trusting in stones and religious duties over that of faith!

Luke 21:6,   1 Kings 9:7-9,   Yesha ‘Yahu 64:10-11,   Jeremiah 26:18,   Lamentations 2:6-8,   Zechariah 14:2,   Matthew/Levi 24:2,   Mark 13:2.

What are Yours?

The giving of the Holy Spirit to all believers, in much different from times past, when only the selected few serving Elohim were given this authority and power to meet His will!

But the question has to be asked in these latter times of the Ekklesia and the establishment of the Kingdom of Y’srael what are the believers doing to further the glory of Yeshua Adonai?

Love is the greatest of all the gifting’s, because without it what we do means nothing and is a waste of time and energy, but when we put into practice love we will have great fruit in that of winning souls for Messiah!

Galatians 5:22,  Ephesians 5:9,  Philippians 1:11,  Colossians 1:6,  10,  Hebrews 13:15.

Yeshua Adonai is Returning?

Many believers can believe so much of the account of Yeshua in relation to His death and rising from the dead on the third day as promised and they believe this is enough?

But there is much more to these events that occurred in the forty days between His rising from the grave and His return home to Heaven! The emphasis for the Talmadim was when would Israel be restored again?

They were talking about the Kingdom, just like the people in the triumphal entry to Yerushalayim wanted Him to be their King! This was part of the mind of Ha ‘Yhudim in those days! We are told He could not commit to a date, but on reflection for us the nation or State of Israel exists!

But we as believers are still waiting for His return, which is much more important in relation to us and all historical events!

Matthew/Levi 24:30,  26:64,  Mark 13:26,  Luke 13:35,  Acts 1:6-11,  Yezeki ‘EL 30:3, Revelation 1:7.

Loving? Part-Two.

March 29, 2018

Pesach-Easter!

Elohim so loved Ha ‘Olam that he gave us His one and only Son, Yeshua!  Yochanan 3:14-16.

This is quite a statement to be found in the New Testament of the Complete Tanakh, but it is only a part of something greater that then leaves us with the challenge of applying this Love of Salvation to others around us?

Ephesians 2:4,  Alef Yocahanan 4;10-11, 19.

The world and Israel is full of trouble, the rise of anti-Semitism, attacks on Jewish communities, and this holiday many Christians will be killed for just going to Church!

We have the responsibility to share our faith and testimony, along with financial support and visiting the sick, poor and caring for widows and orphans?

Yov 22:9,  Psalm 68:5,  Lamentations 5:3,  Ya’akov 1:27.
