PESACH-EASTER. ONE.

Day Two!

We tend to runover the story of Easter very quickly without taking a deeper look at the seven key events of the period from the afternoon on the first day Friday of atonement to the morning of the third day of the resurrection?

In Matthew/Levi 27:44-66 we have seven to nine distinct events from the mockers on crosses beside Him, His death, the conversion of the Roman soldier, the tearing of the Temple veil,  earthquake, the resurrection of the dead believers in Yerushalayim,  His burial, Joseph of Arimathea, the accusers implying that He was a deceiver and Pilate putting a guard in the garden!

Elohim moved and so did Yeshua and despite these events which were scary the religious men still believed that He was a deceiver and wanted their will done! This is the continued human condition of unbelief that we must face everyday with Ha ‘Olim! But we know and have the truth and we must continue to stand for it because faith is far greater than any achievement of man and his mocking of Elohim!

Matthew/Levi 27:38,  44,   45-50,   51-53,   54,   55-56,   57-61,   62-66,   28:13.

Policing Social Media?

March 21, 2019

Living in the age of live Streaming!

There are many great dangers lurking within a click on the Internet and everyone of us today has access to the world from our mobile phones! We can talk, share, intimidate, scam and threaten others, by the various platforms of social interaction in the cyber world?

What happened in New Zealand was a terrible act, but You Tube and other similar outlets do not hesitate to show Islamic State and Palestinian militants beheading Christians and Israeli soldiers?

So we have come to the dilemma of the freedom of speech and expression! The one thing that we cannot deny is that Brenton Tarrant killed fifty people, without this essential evidence lawyers are waiting in the wings to get him possibly off on mental health issue charges?

Genesis 19:1,  Ruth 2:10,  Proverbs 3:29,  Matthew/Levi 9:2,  Acts 4:14,  2 Corinthians 13:3.

Love!

February 21, 2019

We cannot do without It?

If the world had more love, sympathy and understanding, would it be a better place? Sadly it might be improved, but sin that is an inherited stain on humanity would spoil it!

But we who claim to have faith, have to show what we say by putting into practise sympathy, understanding and love daily in our work, home, retirement, duty, and at school?

Without love there would be no feeling, passion, artistic expression in music, painting, writing, photography, design, invention, love for others, romance, sex, the fulfillment of life?

But with knowing Elohim and having that fulness of inner peace, power and love in Yeshua we have entered into the New Life today and for Eternity!

Psalm 98:1,   Yesha ‘Yahu 48:6,    65:17,   2 Corinthians 5;17,   Revelation 21:5.

Forgiving each Other!

February 7, 2019

Love, Marriage and Divorce?

Divorce was never in the vocabulary of Elohim, it was something forced upon Moshe by the people in the Sinai!

Next week millions will be spent of St. Valentines day in the annual day of slushy romance, many will propose and get married enjoying the aspect of the experience!

But about this time next year or the year after depending on the marriage date, they will be divorcing because I did not sign up to this?

We are all Sinners so the Complete Tanakh tells us and because of our fallen nature we are all selfish! This ugly monster is in each of us and it will come out from time to time in differing degrees! But the answer to the problem is to learn to forgive and press on, if we really love each other?

Since Elohim loved us, and gave us His one and only son, since He forgives us our failures, then we too must learn to forgive others!

Psalm 130:4,    Jeremiah 50:20,   Matthew/Levi 6:12-15,   18:21,   Yochanan 3:14-16,   20:23,   Ephesians 4:32,    Colossians 3:16.

Denial and Historical Revisionism?

It is now seventy-four years since the fall of Nazi-Germany and Jewish people still face an onslaught of unbelief from a new generation of educated people who refuse to believe the facts of the Holocaust!

Despite this being one front that is keeping the courts busy, we have to face another onslaught once more with anti-Israel boycotts over not giving the Palestinians their rights to a homeland that is another charade of western idealism?

No other nation, culture, race or religion on the face of our planet has, is, or will face such hatred and misunderstanding as the Jews! Even Christians now deny their faith in God to justify this hatred, but despite all of this negativity there remains many who continue to be faithful to stand-by and support Israel!

Exodus 13:9,   1 Chronicles 28:20,    Psalm 31:24,    Yesha ‘Yahu 44:25,   1 Corinthians 16:13,    Ephesians 6:10,    1 Timothy 1:10,    Revelation 18:8,    21,    21:8.

Another Year 2019!

January 10, 2019

But the same old Story?

We have to press on with our faith in Yeshua, but there are many out there who seek to undermine our religion and culture by re-writing history and denying Ha ‘Shoah!

They have denied the facts of history, as they deny the facts about Yeshua and His love for Y’srael! The fact that Elohim chose our people to possess the land that has been given back once more, for the day of His return!

We must share our faith, but also the truth about Nazi-Germany and its eugenics ideas in the deliberate destruction of the Jewish race?

Exodus 11:17,  14:25,  Y’hoshua 7:20,  Nehemiah 5:1,  Dani’EL  3:8,  Luke 2:34,  Romans 11:2.

CHRISTMAS! Two.

December 27, 2018

Bearing the Name?

The virgin conception and birth of Yeshua is one of the key factors about Chanukka-Christmas, that the promised Messiah and the Saviour of Ha ‘Olam has come Elohim into human flesh the gift given for our redemption!

But being a believer in Yeshua comes with a cost, that of being ostracized from what ever group you belong too? Be targeted for being different, doing right, seeking to be honest or showing integrity? Because Ha ‘Olam is the opposite of everything that is honourable and it is a challenge for us to bear His name!

Jeremiah 29:11, 13,   Amos 5:4,   Luke 1:35,  37,   Yochanan 3:3,  14-17,   Colossians 2:2-15,  Hebrews 11:5.

Many Nations and Israel!

If one talks to older folks, you hear much about the past and the wars with their respective horrors, but today you can speak to refugees from Afghanistan and the Middle-East and hear much the same!

But when you speak with Israelis you learn quickly that they have to live with it, its like Beirut in the seventies or N-Ireland during the troubles?

People were at home and they had no where special they could go, maybe for a while a short move for a rest, but then you had to come home?

People today live in the inner cities around the world and now are getting a taste of some serious out of control crime, it not quite the same but it is bad when you loose a loved one, a child to stabbings!

Genesis 14:2,   31:26,   Joshua 11:20,   Psalm 120:7,   Luke 14:31,   2 Corinthians 10:3,  Alef Kefa 2:11,   Revelation 2:16.

Making the right Choice?

October 25, 2018

Redemption!

The Complete Tanakh says, ‘That we are all sinners!

That is the fact of humanity, we are born into inherited sin and this  marks out as failures before Elohim for the rest of our lives! This condition is another terminal illness, but humanity has as yet not been able to find a cure for it!

We can be self-achieving, learn to be confident and self-improve or otherwise be foolish or mad in evil and wickedness? But what ever road we should choose in the ideal of humanism it will not solve our condition!

Elohim has given to us His one and only Son Yeshau and by repenting and confessing our failures to Him, he will forgives and set us free by His redemptive work on the tree of cursing and His rising from the grave!

Yesha’ Yahu 1:18,   Zechariah 13:1,   Yochanan 3:3,   4-7,   15-18,    Acts 14:22,    Romans 3:22-23,   6:22-23,   1 Corinthians 6:11,   Hebrews 9:14,   13:12,   Alef Yochanan 1:7, Revelation 7:14.

Suffering for doing?

October 11, 2018

Good!

It is hard to be a believer in Yeshua, when we have been told from childhood that he was an imposter! The lie has stuck in our mindset that we dare not challenge it and so it is with all around us who remain in that same darkness that we were delivered from!

Our suffering is not just for believing, but also for doing good? This means doing good all the time, not just that one daily action!

When we tell the truth, we will be attacked for spoiling things? Those things could lead to some ones death, suffering, un-comfort or some other serious problems?

2 Timothy 3:12-13,  Job 27:6,  Mark 10:30,  Acts 14:22,  Alef Kefa 3:14,  Revelation 7:14.
