The system of burnt offerings, the slaughter of animals was a temporary thing to atone for sin. The Passover prior to the deliverance of the nation of Israel from Egypt, required blood on the lintels and doord so that when the Angel of Death passed over.

The Egyptian oppressors had no knowledge of this and thus their first born children died. This whole process occured with Yeshua from His birth, King Herods actions right up to the tree of cursing.

Yeshua died for all who place their trust in Him, by faith and good works will follow. Ha ‘Torah does not lead us to salvation, it is to show us how sinful, debase and failed we are/

Dealing with Paranoid King Herod.

We are told of two dreams being given by Elohim, first in relation to the Magi ‘that they return home a different way. That they do not return to King Herod. In the second dream Yosef is told to take Mari and the child and flee to Egypt.  Matthew/Levi 2:12, 13-14.

We all already know what happened when Herod realised the Magi had departed. he had all the male children from babies to two year-old killed. This revealed who he really was, and how evil his whole family were.  Matthew/Levi 2:16-17.

When Herod was dead Yosef, Mari and the boy Yehuah returned home, but becuase of fear settled in Natzarati in Galil.      Matthew/Levi 2;19-23,    Judges/Shof’tim 13;5,    Hosea/Hoshea 11:1.
