Keeping Shabbat.

Elohim created and on the seventh day He rested, this the example he left for all who follow Him to keep! Ha ‘Shabbat is giving one day to God, since we have six others to work and play?

The problems arrise when we make it a law, that is outside the confines of Ha ‘Torah? This is the problem with religion and the ritualism of traditions without the trust in Him.

Once the people of Y’srael where offering up second class animals, today that could be said to be foriegn coins under the 10% that Elohim asks believers to give?

Believing by Faith.

Belief is the key to the application of faith, not the keeping of traditional practice of legal requirements. The death of Yeshua on the stake/tree/cross was the final atonement for human failure and His rising from the death, victory over the sting of death.

This is for us who believe by faith and not anything of doing!

Believers just must keep believing everyday and walking in faith with Elohim, if there was another way it would have been shown to us by now!

Psalm 1:3,  31:19-20, Matthew/Levi 18:3,  1 Corinthians 9:24,  2 Kefa 2:5.

Rules.

It is easier to keep our own rules and regulations that is why so many stay in their comfort zone. Religion and ritualism give us the good feelings about our selves, but faith in Yeshua shows us what we are selfish and heartless losers.

Faith sets us free from the curse, because we have been redeemed by blood. Not the blood of animals, but of the one perfect sinless man Yeshua. Faith shows us a better way, but it does not replace Ha ‘Torah it has to remain for all the law breakers.

No Elohim. Part-One.

I do not Believe.

Modern Israel wants to be like its western counterparts, botht the United States and Europe! The U.S is primarily a Christia based nation, but on the other hand Europe has strong overtones of secularism under its Christian claims.

Many people in western society want to be secular, so that they can be inclusive again in relation more to Islam than any other religion. Israel has followed with the statement. ‘A Jewish nation for Jews.’

The Complete Tanakh tells us that the fool said in his heart that their is no Elohim. Proverbs 1:7, 22, 29-30.

In the New Testament Yeshua tells us that the problems of humnity do not come from the failure to keep legal requirement in Ha’ Torah, but rather what comes out of the human heart.

Psalm 84:2,  Proverbs 4:23,  Matthew/Levi 12:34,  15:18-19,  Mark 7:21,   Luke 6:45.

Legalism does not equal Salvation.

No one will ever be saved by the Law, because no one can keep the whole of Ha’Torah.

That is why Elohim gave us His One and Only Son Yeshua to make one final atonment for our Sins. He was the perfect man, the second Adam and if we believe in Him we will be saved and be in eternity with Him.

A Warning.

We tend to think that Ha’Torah is over now that we are Christians, yes we are right in saying that Yeshua has fulfilled it for us. But He said that it remains unchanged.

Many Jewish people are marking this time of the year, its a tradition, but the truth is that it is a fact and it displeases Elohim when we refuse to submit or recognise Him.

Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12,  Matthew/Levi chapters 5-7, 5:17-20.

Circumcised.

We see that Yeshua as a baby had to be circumcised on the eight day as the Torah required his parents to fulfill. This was the beginning of life time of connection with Har Hek’el.

Unfortunately many ‘Christians over look these events as irrelevant, but we must never do this. Because this shows that He was first a Jew and the Messiah of Ysra’el. While in the Temple, there were two people and man and a woman who had lived to see this day and to prophecy the arrival of the messiah in human form.

We are also given a prophetic utterance by a priest prior to the birth of his son Yohanan the Baptizer, who would be a forerunner of the Messiah being revealed to the world.  Luke 1:5-23,  57-64,  2:21-39,  25-35,  36-37.

‘Hearing.’

At the end of the day we see that Yosef became a hearing and acting man. He was putting his faith in Elohim into action. Yosef started off as a good traditional Jewish man, always wanting to do what was right, but at the end of his life he became a believer in Yeshua Adonai. We are not told too many details about this father role that Yosef had with the Messiah, but the emphasis hear is on listening, hearing and acting on what Elohim is saying to us today.  Deuteronomy 3:33, Acts 21:20,  Romans 1:8,  2:13,  Galatians 3:2.
