PESACH-EASTER. ONE.

Day Two!

We tend to runover the story of Easter very quickly without taking a deeper look at the seven key events of the period from the afternoon on the first day Friday of atonement to the morning of the third day of the resurrection?

In Matthew/Levi 27:44-66 we have seven to nine distinct events from the mockers on crosses beside Him, His death, the conversion of the Roman soldier, the tearing of the Temple veil,  earthquake, the resurrection of the dead believers in Yerushalayim,  His burial, Joseph of Arimathea, the accusers implying that He was a deceiver and Pilate putting a guard in the garden!

Elohim moved and so did Yeshua and despite these events which were scary the religious men still believed that He was a deceiver and wanted their will done! This is the continued human condition of unbelief that we must face everyday with Ha ‘Olim! But we know and have the truth and we must continue to stand for it because faith is far greater than any achievement of man and his mocking of Elohim!

Matthew/Levi 27:38,  44,   45-50,   51-53,   54,   55-56,   57-61,   62-66,   28:13.

Sin.

We all suffer from this inherited terminal illness!

There is no point trying to say, ‘that we are born innocent, because that is a untruth.’

We are out of control, when it comes to how sin effects us, it leads us always into disasters and a maze of tangled weeds in our lives causing more problems. The first six hundered and one years on this planet, humanity went out of controle and Elohim had to end these peopls. From Noach and his family only eight people started the new human linage again.

Many Jewish people today will mark this time of the traditional year, but they have no belief in the events of the Tanakh, only picking out the bits such as Abraham and Moshe.

But we must continue to address the seriousness of Sin today, because it has not changed. All the Patriarchs had one thing in common, they had faith in Elohim to answer. Today we have Yeshua and without faith in Him, no one will see New Life, but face the damnation of Hell.

Genesis chapters 6-7,  12:1-3,  Exodus 3:7-10,  Yesha ‘Yahu 28:18-22,  Matthew/Levi 23:33,  Hebrews 2:3,  11:1-11.

‘The Garden Tomb.’

We have the immediate witnesses of the resurrection of Ha’Adon in the garden tomb. The women set out with the burial spices, only to find the tomb empty. They were then met by angels and eventually by the risen Lord, whom at first they thought was the gardeners.  Matthew/Levi 27:57-28:10,  Mark 15:42-16:11,  Luke 23:50-24:12,  Yochanan 19:38-20:18.

It was at the announcement of the reports of the resurrection of Yeshua, that the religious authorities in Yerushalyim told the guards to spread lies about what had happened. Today these lies continue to be believed by the majority of Jewish people.  Matthew/Levi 28:11-15,.
