Chanukkah! One.

November 21, 2018

Festival of Lights.

Chanukka remains one of the most popular and fun loving festivals in the Jewish calendar, as much for children and adults!

Being popular can sometimes miss the real message of what many today believe was the onset for the events of the entry of Moshia into Israeli society?

Israel was seeking a divine intervention over that of the initial Maccabean rebellion, people wanted assurances that Elohim was still with them and a deliverance was coming!

Exodus 2:23,  Ezra 9:13,  Psalm 3:8,  14:7,  40:16,  Luke 21:28,  Philippians 1:19.

Another Year!

Over the years of writing this blog post one has not moved on to change the emphasis, this is because for our little nation wither one believes in it or not will be attacked again and again?

Arab nations, the Muslim religion, western liberalism and now anti-Semitism is coming to the fore in places that we thought were done with this, learning from their own historical failures?

But we must recognise that sin, being an inherited condition continues to work in the hearts of each of us! The writer of Ecclesiastes was correct when he said, ‘That there was nothing new under the sun!

What is more important is the knowledge that we have found Yeshua Adonai as the Lord and master of our lives and that we continue to walk with Him, awaiting that great day of His return!

Yochanan 14:28,  1 Thessalonians 1:10,   Hebrews 1:2-3,   10:37,   Yesha ‘Yahu 51:11, Zechariah 1:3,   Malachi 3:18,   Luke 12:36,   Alef Kefa 3:4.

Being Heard?

The world does not always want to hear us even in the mundane of our conversation? It is full of selfish hearing, it wants gossip and lies and that how it exists!

But Elohim is always listening for the cries of despair and suffering and for the praise and joy of believers! He will answer us in His own way and time and that reply will be the right one for us!

He can say yes or no or wait and what ever He answers it will be the right help that we need to meet what ever situation that we might be in?

The Temple! One.

July 5, 2018

The focus of Y’srael.

In times past the Temple was the focus of the people to bring their sacrifices for their failures to be offered by the priestly order, it was the central place of worship for Ha Y’hudim and the dwelling of Elohim on Earth!

But because of the sin, ignorance and arrogance of the people and the way that the Prophets were mistreated as they tried to warn the Kings that they were going against the will of Elohim to submit, two Temples were destroyed and the nations scattered to the four winds of the Earth via Babylon!

Yeshua told the people two-thousand years ago that their failure to trust in Elohim and to believe in Him was their ruin, because they were trusting in stones and religious duties over that of faith!

Luke 21:6,   1 Kings 9:7-9,   Yesha ‘Yahu 64:10-11,   Jeremiah 26:18,   Lamentations 2:6-8,   Zechariah 14:2,   Matthew/Levi 24:2,   Mark 13:2.

The value of Prayer?

Many people today live extremely busy lives, they actually have taken on much more than they thought they could handle? Both believers and Ha ‘Olim  have so many problems and the despair that comes with them!

The communication line with Elohim is always open for everyone, race, colour, religion or none that are alive today on Earth and in Space! He wants to hear from us in prayer, He wants to understand the difficulties that we may be facing and He wants to help to sort our lives out!

What Elohim has to offer is free and of far superiority than the multitude of councillors and psychologist, many that do not come cheap!

Psalm 5:2-3,   50:15,  122:6,   Jeremiah 33:3,  Matthew/Levi 5:46,  6:6,  Mark 11:25,  Luke 11:2,  Acts 8:22,   Romans 8:26,  10:12-13,   1 Corinthians 14:15,  1 Thessalonians 3:10,  Philemon 1:6,   Hebrews 13:8,   Gimmel Yochanan (3 John) 1:2.

Loving? Part-Two.

Pesach-Easter!

Elohim so loved Ha ‘Olam that he gave us His one and only Son, Yeshua!  Yochanan 3:14-16.

This is quite a statement to be found in the New Testament of the Complete Tanakh, but it is only a part of something greater that then leaves us with the challenge of applying this Love of Salvation to others around us?

Ephesians 2:4,  Alef Yocahanan 4;10-11, 19.

The world and Israel is full of trouble, the rise of anti-Semitism, attacks on Jewish communities, and this holiday many Christians will be killed for just going to Church!

We have the responsibility to share our faith and testimony, along with financial support and visiting the sick, poor and caring for widows and orphans?

Yov 22:9,  Psalm 68:5,  Lamentations 5:3,  Ya’akov 1:27.

The need for Atonement. Two.

Forgiveness of Sins?

The Complete Tanakh tells us very clearly that we are all sinners, since the fall in the Garden of Eden humanity has inherited incurable failure!

But Elohim has always provided a way for people to confess and repent of their bad doings, from the first sacrifice offered by Abel, through to the various alters and offerings made by the Patriarch’s until Moshe was shown the Tabernacle or mobile temple!

Today political intrigue and strife continue in Jerusalem and Israel as to the Dome of the Rock and when will the new Temple be restored? But Elohim has already offered both  Ha ‘Yehud’im and Ha ‘Goy’im the way to be atoned for finally, in that He has given Ha ‘Olam His one and only Son Yeshua!

Hebrews 9:22-28,   Exodus 30:10,   Yochanan 3:14-17,   31-36.

Praise. Part-One.

Psalms.

Today we have more in Christian/Messianic music that we ever had with just what was contained in the Complete Tanakh. There is such a great variety to choose from and many styles that no longer ilimiting, while many remain based on the original Psalms others deal with eveyday issues.

Some believers are really opposed to music in Ekklesia, but this does not make any real sense since the Temple was the place to praise Elohim.

1 Chronicles 23:5,  2 Chronicles 20:19,  Ezra 3:10,  Psalm 7:17,  Hebrews 2:12,  Ya’akov 5:13.
